Import Cards
Overview
Import Cards lets you create new card records or update existing ones in bulk, directly from Card Services / Cards, using a controlled CSV import process. It replaces relying on Import Table Data for bulk card maintenance, giving you a process that's easier to review and safer to run — it auto-detects create vs. update per row, validates business rules before anything is processed, supports partial processing where you have permission, and gives you a downloadable error report and combined result CSV.
Where to find it
Card Services / Cards now has two tabs: Card Details and Import Cards (immediately to the right). The Import Cards tab is available whether or not a card is currently loaded, and loads within the existing Cards page — same breadcrumb, page title, and layout you're already used to.
What's tracked behind the scenes
Every successful create or update writes normal card audit history the same way a manual change would.
Each import run is recorded as a top-level import event (user, supplier, file, timestamp, status) — you don't need a separate import history screen; the same audit trail you already use on the Cards screen covers individual card changes made via import.
