Field Descriptions (List View)

The fields below are listed in the order they appear on the Quotes / Finance tab.

  • ID (Number) - The unique number of the qtfinancierpostingmapdefaults record. Hyperlink navigates you to the Detail tab where additional fields are visible

  • Financier (Text) - Supplier Code of the financier. Hover mouse over Financier to see the Financier Name

  • Contract Type (Text) - Contract Type code

  • Term (Number) - The lease term, e.g. 12 months, 24 months. If a quote is created for a term not exactly matching the previous term is used, e.g. a 38 month quote would use the 36 month rate

  • Advance / Arrears (Drop List) - Choose the setting you want to use for this financier. This field is part of the logic used to populate the Quotes / Finance "Advance / Arrears" field as follows: If Reference Data > qtfinancierpostingmapdefaults contains a record for the selected Financier / Contract Type combination, that record's value for "Advance / Arrears" is used, otherwise Clients / Quote Defaults "Advance / Arrears" is used if populated, otherwise 'Advance'

  • Finance Budget Term Deferred (Drop List) - Choose from 'Any', 'No', and 'Yes'. 'Any' is the default value and is the recommended setting. Set this to 'yes' or 'no' to override the Clients / Quote Defaults "Finance Budget Term Deferred" selections. Visit the Months Deferred page for more details of how this setting affects your quotes and budgets

    • Warning: Changing this field to 'yes' or 'no' overrides the Clients / Quote Defaults "Finance Budget Term Deferred" selection. Only do this if your financier requires it

  • Est / Admin Fee (Number) - A fee charged by the financier may be included here. Refer to the Establishment Fee page for full calculation details

  • Originator Fee (Number) - An Establishment Fee amount can be included and interfaced to Financiers as required (e.g. this field is included in the St George Interface)

  • REVS / PPSR (Number) - You can include an encumbrance fee into the financing. If an amount is entered here, this value will be populated into the quote

  • Mortgage Duty (Check Box) - Mortgage duty applies in NSW for certain finance products, e.g. a Consumer Loan. Open the Mortgage Duty spreadsheet to see the full calculation and logic used. This is not selected by default but can be selected

  • Fee (Number) - If a monthly administration fee is charged by your financier, enter the GST exclusive amount here. This will be populated into the Quotes / Finance Monthly Payments "Fee" and forms part of the finance amount calculation. It is also included in the 'FIN' budget. A fee may be applicable to your Angle Auto Finance applications

  • Novated Commission % (Number) - Enter a percentage here and the value will default into the Quotes / Finance "Commission Rate" field. Visit the Commission page for full details of how this calculation is performed as a number of different configurations are possible

  • Novated Commission Max (Number) - Populate this field if the Financier has set a maximum allowable commission. When creating a quote the Quotes / Finance "Commission Fee" will be limited to this amount, even if the calculations return a higher amount. Visit the Commission page for full details of how this calculation is performed as a number of different configurations are possible

  • Effective (Date) - Enter the date that the record should apply from. If this is the first record being created, "Effective" can be left blank. When creating or recalculating a quote, the "Effective Date" of the quote and reference records are used to find the right record. The selected record contains a date that is on or before the quote's "Effective Date". The first reference record can have a blank date, but each record after that must have a populated "Effective Date" so the correct record can be used in the quote. This means you can add a new record each time you want to update the fees or defaults for a record. This makes changes easier to see and allows you to add in new records ahead of time for a scheduled change

Further Notes About Using Term

If you do not use Term as a variable, any quote using the stored Financier / Contract Type combination will apply the default costs. See MAC in the table below.

If you use Term as one of your variables, the quote will select the record where the set term is equal to, or lower than the term entered in the quote.

Example: If you raise a quote with a term of 23, the system will apply values from where the term equals 12, not 24.

If you use Term as a setting, a record where Term = 1 will be required. See STG in the table below.
