The driver profile
Every card on the driver profile, the two actions, and how to use it to answer common questions.
The driver profile brings together what your team needs when a driver calls.
Header and actions
The driver's initials and name, with their employer and brand. Two actions:
- Send push opens the notification composer for this driver. The message is recorded under Messages sent to this driver.
- Request odometer opens the Request odometer reading pop-up (see below).
A view-only role sees both buttons greyed out.
Cards
Requesting an odometer reading
Request odometer opens a pop-up, "Request odometer reading", not the notification composer.
- Where the driver has more than one active lease, pick the Vehicle. The first active lease is picked to start with.
- Check the vehicle's Last reading.
- Choose Send request. The notification goes to this driver straight away and you stay on the profile. Cancel sends nothing.
The driver receives a notification asking for a reading of that vehicle; tapping it opens the odometer form for that vehicle. The request appears in the Notifications list like any other message. Nothing tracks whether the driver responded, and more than one request can be sent.
Procedure: a driver says they never received a notification
- Under Messages sent to this driver, confirm the message was sent to them.
- If it was, it is in the Notifications list in their app, whatever their settings. Only the push to the phone can be missing.
- Under Contact & preferences, check the type is On. If it is off, only the driver can turn it on, under Profile > Preferences in the app.
- If the type is on, the phone's permission is off. Ask the driver to check the app's notification permission in their phone settings.
Procedure: checking whether a driver finished setup
Look at the Onboarding card. It shows Completed with the date, or the step still outstanding.
