Content: FAQs, documents and links

How to add, organise and publish the questions, documents and links drivers see in the app.

Content holds what drivers find under Help & support and Documents & links in the app. It is set per brand.

Content types

TypeShown in the app as
FAQsQuestions in Help & support, and, where you choose, a Did you know? card on Home
DocumentsPDF files drivers open in the app
LinksShortcuts to your website, a calculator or a video, opened inside the app

Each type shows a count on the left.

FAQs

Questions are grouped into categories that you name. The line above the list shows the number of categories and questions and reminds you that you can drag to reorder. Each question shows a Published or Draft badge and the first line of its answer. Drivers see only published questions.

Adding a question

  1. Choose the brand.
  2. Choose Add FAQ.
  3. Write the question in the words a driver would use, and a short answer. Answers are plain text: formatting is not applied in the app, and an answer cannot carry a document.
  4. Choose a category, or create one with New category.
  5. To show it on Home as well, tick Show this FAQ as a Did you know? card. It appears under Insights for you.
  6. Publish, or save as a draft.
  7. Drag the question into position with its handle. The pencil icon edits a question or a category name.

Adding a document

  1. Choose Documents, then Add document.
  2. Enter the document name, drop a PDF or browse for one, and choose an icon.
  3. Publish. The app shows the file's size and the date it was updated.
  1. Choose Links, then Add link.
  2. Enter the link name, the URL and an icon.
  3. Publish. Every link opens inside the app.

The icons are Document, Form, Calculator, Video, Website, Guide, Costs and Dates.

Rules

  • Ignition step 2, and a brand being live, need at least one published FAQ and at least one published document or link. Unpublishing or deleting the last of either unticks the step; on a live brand other than Default, it takes the brand off live after a warning.
  • A content type with nothing published is hidden in the app.
  • A published question appears in the app without an app release.
  • The log on this screen records who changed what.

Note: The questions your team hears most often in the first weeks after launch make the best content. Add them as they come in.
