Account setup
The four steps a driver completes once after first signing in, and what each step writes back to Catch-e.
After the tour, the driver completes an account setup of four steps. It takes about two minutes and runs once, not once per device. A progress bar shows the current step, and the driver can go back at any step.
Step 1: About you
The screen says "We have pre-filled what your employer sent us" and asks the driver to check it.
Only the fields the driver changes are written back to Catch-e. An unchanged field writes nothing, and a cleared field never blanks the record.
Step 2: Your salary
The screen shows the gross annual salary, before tax and excluding superannuation, that the employer gave you, and asks the driver to adjust it only if it has changed. A note tells them it is used only for packaging calculations.
This is the one field a driver must complete. If the Catch-e record holds no salary, the field is empty and the driver must enter one to continue.
Step 3: Notifications
The screen lists the five kinds of message the app sends. It is a read-only list with no switches; the driver changes them later under Profile > Preferences.
When the driver continues from this step, the phone asks once whether the app may send notifications.
Step 4: Before you start
The screen names your organisation and the driver's employer and lists the legal documents you have published for the brand, such as your Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Collection Notice.
- Tapping a document opens the full text in the app. Once opened, the row shows Read.
- The driver ticks the box to accept the documents and chooses Accept and finish. They can accept without opening every document.
The app records that set-up was completed, and when. The driver profile in the portal shows that date against Terms & conditions accepted and Privacy collection notice accepted. Set-up runs once; publishing a new version of a document does not bring it back.
Finishing
The final screen reads "You're all set" and confirms that the driver's details are with their employer and their lease is ready to track. Go to my dashboard opens Home.
Warning: Notifications are how the app tells a driver that a claim has been approved, a budget is running over or a statement is ready. The permission belongs to the phone and cannot be forced: only the driver can grant it, and only the driver can turn it back on. If they chose Don't Allow, push notifications cannot be delivered until they turn them on in the phone's settings; messages still arrive in the app's own Notifications list. A driver who sets the app up on a new phone is asked again. When a driver reports not receiving notifications, ask them to check the app's permissions in their phone settings first.
