Drivers: Assets Liabilities

Overview

The Assets and Liabilities tab is used to create and display the assets and liabilities of the driver.

These records are used in the Angle Finance Interface and the Maclease Partner interface.

For all other financiers, continue to populate the driver's assets and liabilities in the Drivers / Finances tab.

Field Descriptions

Screen Name	Description
Assets
x	Provides the user with the ability to remove an unwanted line entry when screen is in edit mode.
#	System generated Asset Sequence number in order of the Asset Types entered.
Asset Type	A list of the Asset Types required to select from for a successful application
Asset Value	Enter the value of the nominated Asset Type
Ownership	Used to record whether or not the Asset Type nominated has is fully owned by the driver (Debt Free) or is not fully owed (Debt Owed). If you select 'Debt Owed' here, a matching liability record will be created for you to finish populating. This field does not apply to the Asset Types 'Cash in Bank', 'Furniture' and 'Superannuation'.
Description	Used to record any useful information regarding the nominated Asset Type up to 40 characters
Total Assets	Calculated fields totalling the Asset Types.
Liabilities
x	Provides the user with the ability to remove an unwanted line entry.
#	System generated Liability Sequence number in order of the Asset Types entered.
Asset No	Represents the Asset No of the Asset Type that is linked to the selected Liability Type. Where more than one Liability is linked to the Asset the drop list remains available for the Asset No to be linked manually. Where the Liability has no link to an Asset, this field should remain blank.
Liability Type	A list of the Liability Types required to select from for a finance application
Balance	Used to record the outstanding amount still owed on the Asset.
Monthly Payment	Used to record the monthly amount owed to the Financier.
Financier	Used to identify the Financier the liability is held with. It is required for all Liabilities except 'Tax Debt'
Payout	Used to request a payout from Maclease for the nominated Liability Type. Only available for Liability Types ‘Recreational Asset Loan’, ‘Motor Vehicle Loan’ and ‘Plant and Equipment Loan’
End Date	Used to enter the date the payout is due. This is an optional field, however if a date is entered it must greater than or equal to the date of submitting the application (today’s date).
Limit	Used to record the limit available to the driver under the Liability Type selected. It is available only for Liability Types 'Overdraft' and 'Credit Card Limit'
Total Liabilities	Calculated fields totalling the Liability Types.
