The editor

The header shows the document, its status, the date it was last updated and a character count. Markdown and Preview switch between the source and how the app will show it. You can paste from Word or Google Docs and tidy the text with the toolbar.

Publishing a new version

  1. Choose the brand and the document.
  2. Edit the text and check Preview.
  3. Set the Effective date. It must be today or later.
  4. Choose Publish document (the first time) or Publish update.
  5. Tell your service team the date and what has changed.

Drivers accept the documents once, when they first set up the app. Publishing a new version does not interrupt them: from its effective date, the new version is what they see under Profile > Legal.

Reverting

  • Revert to published discards unpublished edits.
  • Revert to draft takes the published version back to draft. For the Terms & Conditions of a live brand, this takes the brand off live, after a warning.
  • Revert to draft is not available while an update is in progress: publish the update first. Once drivers have access, Default's Terms & Conditions cannot be reverted to draft at all; publish an update instead.

Version history

Every published version of the document, with its number, the date it was published and the date it takes effect.

The driver profile's Onboarding card shows the date each driver completed set-up, which is when they accepted the documents.
